1. HOME STUDY
You’ll start your scuba education from the comfort of home. LDC’s introductory scuba program, Open Water Diver, comes with convenient home-study materials designed to make your scuba learning experience fun!
2. CLASSROOM AND POOL SESSIONS
This is where it gets really fun! You’ll take what you’ve learned and apply it in reality-based instructional scenarios in the pool. Your instructor will fit you for scuba equipment, so that you become comfortable in your “second skin”.
3. OPEN WATER DIVES & CERTIFICATION
Once you finish your training you’ll complete the open water dives necessary to receive your Open Water Diver scuba certification.

*Dates and times are for class and pool only, open water dives will be scheduled with your instructor.
*Cancellations without a 48hr notice will be charged a $10 rescheduling fee.
*Age requirements: Students ages 10 and 11 must have a parent or legal guardian attending class with them. It is recommended that ages 12 and under attend a Scuba Ranger class prior to attending any Open Water Class.
Students ages 12 and up may take any Open Water class and receive their Junior Certification.
*Read the manual, complete the workbook and view the DVD prior to your Scuba class starting.
