Trip Report from Sept 4-7, 2009 "Thanks to Billy at "Fisherman's Inn" and Capt. Bob Cox, for yet another great weekend diving on "Diver Down". Friday we had unbelievable conditions, less than 1 foot and glassy on the way out and in. Surface temp 85 degrees, bottom 78 degrees at the U352 sub and the Spar. Vis 80' + and only limited by the marine life. . Saturday was a bit windy, but we got out to the "Shurtz" for two fantastic dives. I believe we were the only dive boat out, but that's not unusual for us. We love to dive! Surface temp was in the mid 80's and viz was about 80'. Check out some photos taken by Dana.
Sunday was a repeat of Saturday. This time we chose to dive the U352 for both dives. However, both the viz and temperature dropped due to the stormy weather. Still a great dive! The sub is just awesome.
Monday was the worst weather day of the weekend. Again, we were the only boat to attempt to go diving. Capt. Bobby informed us we were to dive inshore. We dove the "Hutton" and the "Indra. Both dives were pretty fun, but getting back on the boat was challenging! The "Indra" was crowd pleaser due to the aboundant fish and swim throughs
